Becoming a Medical Assistant is a life-changing experience for those who rise to the challenge. This exciting career path, through the Duluth Business University School of Health Sciences, equips graduates with the skills necessary to work closely with doctors and patients alike in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, medical offices of all kinds, nursing homes, and clinics. The MA is trained in first aid and CPR and will perform duties that may include administering a range of patient diagnostic tests, assisting a physician, and performing clerical functions with patient records and charts.
