in a healthcare setting such as a physician’s office,
clinic, or hospital! DBU’s Phlebotomy Technician program
prepares graduates for entry-level employment opportunities
as phlebotomists. Learn to collect blood safely and proficiently,
and begin your new life as a healthcare professional.

This program will provide training
in phlebotomy procedures routinely ordered in a physician’s
or clinic office. In addition, graduates will be able to communicate
effectively with patients and co-professionals.

provide evidence of competencies in communications, social
sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential
reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability
to learn on one's own.
