As a student of DBU’s Massage Therapy: Holistic Bodywork
Studies program, you’ll learn ancient and up-to-the-minute
massage, bodyworks, and spa techniques used to promote clients’
physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. Graduates
are qualified to take the national certification exam, get
licensed in their state, and join the American Massage Therapy
Association. You can work in a variety of therapeutic settings
including wellness clinics, day spas, destination spas, rehabilitation
facilities, hospitals, and medical clinics.

This degree program will provide quality comprehensive training
for a career as a massage therapist. Graduates of this program
will obtain skills relative to advanced massage techniques
and holistic health care. An A.A.S. degree will provide evidence
of competencies in communications, social sciences, humanities
and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning and computational
skills as well as the ability to learn on one’s own.
