Diploma Program
Objectives
This program will provide training in office procedures,
which include problem-solving, decision-making, management
training and comprehensive microcomputer applications.
Associate in Applied Science Degree
Objectives
This program will provide training in office procedures
with emphasis on word processing, microcomputer applications and
customer service. An A.A.S. degree will provide evidence of competencies
in communications, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical
and inferential reasoning, and computational skills, as well as
the ability to learn on one’s own.
Career Opportunities
This program prepares graduates for entry-level employment opportunities,
such as administrative assistant positions working for upper and
middle management-level personnel in businesses, institutions,
and civil service, and assisting executives and directors within
a company. Graduates are also prepared for and may choose positions
in government offices, hospitals, insurance companies and educational
institutions. Please realize these are only examples of many opportunities
that may be available to qualified graduates.
