Imagine
America Scholarship Program
The award-winning Imagine America Scholarship Program helps
thousands of high school seniors each year to pursue a postsecondary
career education at hundreds of career schools across the
nation.
Each year, every high school in the United States and Puerto
Rico can select up to three graduating seniors to receive
a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship. Students must meet the
standard admissions requirements of the participating career
college to which they apply. In addition, CCF offers the following
four selection guidelines:

Likelihood of successful completion of postsecondary education;
- High
school grade point average of 2.5 or greater;
- Financial
need; and
- Demonstrated
voluntary community service during senior year.
Imagine
America - Military Award Program
The Imagine America - Military Award Program (MAP) program
has been established to assist thousands of military personnel
each year pursue post secondary career education at hundreds
of career colleges across the nation. The MAP recognizes the
important contributions of our nation's armed services.
The MAP is a national aid program established by the Career
College Foundation (CCF), the not-for-profit affiliate of
the Career College Association. The $1,000 career education
award is available to any active duty and honorably discharged
or retired veteran of a United States military service branch
for attendance at a participating career college. Students
also must meet the career college's standard admissions requirements
for the requested program of study.
DBU Continuing Education Scholarship
for DBU Graduates
Any DBU graduate who has been out of school for one year or
more and would like to continue their education by advancing
to an AAS degree or train in another career field is qualified.
The award amount is $1,000.
Eligibility Guidelines:
- Award
amounts are designated for tuition only and are divided
in 1⁄4 increments, unless the student is enrolled
in a three quarter program and then will be awarded in 1/3
increments.
- All
recipients will be notified in writing within two weeks
of application.
- All
funds are paid directly to the college
- Students
must carry a minimum of 9 credits per quarter and maintain
satisfactory academic progress or the award is forfeited
from that point forward.

Academic Scholarship
For Graduating High School Seniors
Qualifier: CPAt (Career Profile Assessment Test)

Eligibility
Guidelines:
- Recipients
must be enrolled prior to April 1 of their graduating year.
- Students
must apply for and begin classes during the summer or fall
quarter immediately following graduation from high school.
- Eligible
students must be current-year graduating seniors.
- Award
amounts are designated for tuition only and are divided
in 1⁄4 increments, unless the student is enrolled
in a 3 – quarter program and then will be awarded
in 1/3 increments.
- All
recipients will be notified of the award in writing within
2 weeks after testing.
- All
funds are paid directly to the college.
- Students
must carry a minimum of 9 credits per quarter and maintain
satisfactory academic progress or the award is forfeited
from that point forward.
- Awards
are forfeited if attendance is discontinued or interrupted.
- Students
can only take the test one time.
Students must take the test prior to April 1.
President's Scholarship
For Graduating High School Seniors
Anyone who meets the eligibility guidelines is eligible for
this scholarship.
A student who applies for admission to Duluth Business University
before January 1, or April 1, of his/her senior year of high
school and has a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher will receive
one of the following scholarship awards:
$2,000
– Apply prior to January 1
$1,000 – Apply between January 1 – March 31
Eligibility
Guidelines:
- Recipients
must be enrolled prior to April 1 to be eligible.
- Eligible
applicants must be current-year graduating seniors.
- Award
amounts are designated for tuition only and are divided
in 1⁄4 increments, unless the student is enrolled
in a three-quarter program and then will be awarded in 1/3
increments.
- All
recipients will be notified of the award in writing once
an official high school transcript is received.
- All
funds are paid directly to the college.
- Students
must begin attending DBU in the summer or fall quarter immediately
following their senior year.
- Students
must carry a minimum of 9 quarter credits per quarter and
maintain satisfactory academic progress or the award is
forfeited from that point forward.
- Awards
are forfeited if attendance is discontinued or interrupted.
- Applicants
must complete a scholarship application. Applications are
available in the financial aid office.
