DBU’s mission is to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the entry-level requirements for employment and to provide general education courses to increase students’ career opportunities.

Philosophy and Objectives
DBU is committed to training students in the knowledge and specialized skill areas necessary for success in our complex society. Our courses are designed in such a way that the individual student's goal can be achieved in the shortest possible time consistent with good training methods. We have eliminated unnecessary areas of study which may be required by other institutions and offer only those subjects that are of practical value in training the student for his or her chosen career. Our courses are continually subject to revision to assure that our students are fully prepared to enter the ever-changing world of employment.

We believe that a private career school should treat students as unique individuals and help them develop good character, proper work habits, positive attitudes and the ability to make sound decisions and get along with people. This should be done so that students have access to our course offerings without discriminating against race, color, religion, sex, age or nationality.

To achieve these goals, DBU employs well-educated, experienced professionals who take a personal interest in each student.
